Terms of Service

Effective October 5, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Netmonth (the "Service"), available at netmonth.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Parties

The Service is provided by the company below ("we", "us"). "You" means the person who creates an account and uses the Service.

2. The Service

Netmonth is a personal finance tool. It helps you record income and expenses, import bank and credit card statements, categorize transactions and see whether you are spending more or less than you earn. Netmonth is not a bank, does not hold your money, and does not connect to your bank accounts.

3. Not financial advice

The Service provides information and summaries only. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• One account is for one person. You may not share your account or use it on behalf of a business.

5. Statement imports and automated reading

When you upload a statement, the Service reads it automatically. Some files (for example PDF statements) are read with the help of an artificial intelligence service provider. Automated reading can make mistakes. Before transactions are saved, you can review, edit, add and remove every row, and you are responsible for checking the result. Currency conversions use the European Central Bank reference rates and are for information only.

6. Plans, payments and renewals

• Netmonth offers a free plan with limits shown on the pricing page, and a paid Premium subscription billed monthly or yearly.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns.
• The details of the purchase are set out in our Distance Sales Agreement, which you accept before paying.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan → Manage subscription; your Premium access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Prices may include taxes as determined by Paddle based on your location. If we change our prices, we will tell you in advance, and the new price will apply from your next renewal.

7. Your data

You own the data you enter or upload. You give us a limited permission to store and process it only to provide the Service to you. You can download all of your data or delete your account at any time from Settings → Your data. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; upload files that you have no right to use or that contain malware; attempt to access other users' data; interfere with or overload the Service; or reverse engineer, scrape or resell the Service.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logo and the Netmonth name, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership to you.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts and enforcement offices of Ankara have jurisdiction over disputes. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim before the consumer authorities and courts of your place of residence.
