Import bank and credit card statements in any format
Upload the statement file your bank already gives you. Netmonth reads the transactions, shows them for review, and saves only what you confirm.
Works with the files your bank provides
Most banks and card issuers let you download statements from online banking. Netmonth accepts all the common formats, in any language. For CSV and Excel files, columns such as date, description and amount are detected automatically, even when headers are in German, Spanish or Turkish. When a layout is unusual, AI helps map the columns. PDF statements are read by an AI model.
- CSV
- Excel (XLS, XLSX)
- OFX and QFX
- QIF
- CAMT.053 (XML) and MT940
Review everything before it is saved
Nothing goes into your records until you confirm. On the review screen you can fix any field, add or delete rows, and split one transaction across several categories. Set a category or type for many rows at once, or exclude rows you don't want. Your draft is saved automatically, so you can leave and finish later.
- Edit any field
- Add, delete or exclude rows
- Split a row into several categories
- Bulk-set category or type
- Autosaved draft
No duplicates, totals that add up
Statements often overlap. When you upload a file that contains transactions you've already imported, Netmonth flags them so you don't count them twice. If the statement shows an opening and closing balance or totals, Netmonth checks the imported rows against them. That way you can spot a missing or misread line before you save.
Changed your mind? Undo the whole import
Imported the wrong month or the wrong file? Every import is kept as a group, so you can undo it later in one step instead of deleting transactions one by one. Because Netmonth never connects to your bank, you decide exactly which statements go in and when. Free accounts include 3 imports per month; Premium makes them unlimited.
- Undo an entire import later
- No bank connection or bank password
