Delete your account
Effective October 5, 2026
You can close your Netmonth account and have your personal data deleted at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
1. Delete it yourself (instant)
- Sign in and open Settings.
- Optionally, download a copy of your data with Your data → Download.
- Click Delete account and type your email address to confirm.
Your account and data are deleted immediately. An active Premium subscription is canceled automatically at the same time, so you will not be charged again.
2. Or ask us by email
If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the address registered to your account with the subject "Account deletion request", or use the contact form. After verifying that the request comes from you, we delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
3. What is deleted
- Your profile (name, email address, password, preferences)
- All transactions, categories, rules and recurring items
- Uploaded statement files and import history
- Your subscription record in Netmonth
4. What may be kept
- Invoices and payment records — kept by Paddle, and where applicable by us, for the period required by tax law
- Server security logs — kept for up to 90 days, then deleted
- Backups — overwritten within 30 days
- Anonymous, aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you
