See your household's spending in one place
Upload statements from every card and account in the household and get one clear picture of where the family's money goes.
Every card and account, one picture
In most households money is spread across several checking accounts and credit cards. Import the statements from all of them into one Netmonth account and see the household's total income, expenses and net result together. Payments between your own accounts and card payments can be marked as transfers, so nothing is counted twice.
- Statements from any bank or card
- One combined dashboard
- Transfers between your accounts excluded
- Duplicates flagged
See where shared money goes
Groceries, kids' activities, utilities, dining out: the category chart shows which areas take the biggest share of the household budget. Compare this month with last month, or this year with last year, and talk about spending with real numbers instead of guesses. The 12-month trend shows how the household is doing over time.

Keep fixed costs in view
Add rent or mortgage, insurance, childcare and subscriptions as recurring transactions, and Netmonth creates them on schedule. You'll see how much of each month is already spoken for before any everyday spending. Daily, weekly, monthly or yearly schedules, with custom intervals, cover everything from a biweekly paycheck to an annual insurance premium. Recurring items are included on the free plan.
One login for the household
A Netmonth account has a single login, which many households share so both partners can upload statements and check the dashboard. It works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. Anyone with the login can quick-add a cash expense from their phone. Netmonth does not offer separate user accounts within one household.
