Supported banks and statement file formats
If your bank or card issuer lets you download a statement, Netmonth can import it. The banks below are only examples.
United States
Most US banks and card issuers let you download activity as CSV, Excel or a Quicken/QFX file, and monthly statements as PDF. Any of these can be imported into Netmonth, including credit card statements with refunds and payments. Here are some of the banks people commonly use; Netmonth is not affiliated with any of them.
Europe
European banks often provide CSV exports, PDF statements and standard banking formats such as CAMT.053 or MT940. Netmonth detects columns with headers in German, Spanish and many other languages, and converts foreign currency statements at the European Central Bank rate of each date. Some of the banks people commonly use are listed here.
Türkiye and the rest of the world
Netmonth reads statements in any language, so banks in Türkiye and elsewhere work the same way. Excel exports and PDF statements are the most common options from Turkish banks, and the AI handles PDF layouts that vary from bank to bank. Some common examples are listed here. Not on the list? If your bank lets you download a statement, it will work.
File formats explained
Structured formats such as CSV, OFX or CAMT.053 are the most precise, because amounts and dates are already machine-readable. PDF statements are read by an AI model and checked against the statement's totals when it has them. Bank names are trademarks of their owners and are listed only to show compatibility.
