PDF bank statements

Turn PDF bank statements into editable transactions

Many banks only offer PDF statements. Netmonth uses an AI model to read them and lists every transaction so you can check it and save it.

No more copying rows by hand

Typing transactions from a PDF into a spreadsheet is slow and error-prone. Upload the PDF statement you downloaded from online banking and Netmonth's AI reads dates, descriptions and amounts for you. It works with bank and credit card statements from any bank, in any language. Instead of converting a PDF to CSV yourself, you get transactions ready to categorize.

  • Bank and credit card statements
  • Any bank, any language
  • Dates, descriptions and amounts extracted
  • Categories suggested automatically

Checked against the statement's totals

AI is good at reading statements, but you should still be able to trust the result. When the PDF shows an opening and closing balance or totals, Netmonth compares them with the transactions it found. If the numbers don't match, you'll know to look for a missing or misread row before saving.

You stay in control of every row

The AI's result is a draft, not a final answer. On the review screen you can correct any date, description or amount, add a row the AI missed, delete one it shouldn't have included, or split a transaction into several categories. Transactions you've imported before are flagged as duplicates. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

  • Correct any field
  • Add or delete rows
  • Duplicates flagged
  • Nothing saved until you confirm
